Exegy Readies Software-Based Trading Application Platform
Exegy will initially launch a software-based version of the platform designed to handle far fewer market data feeds than its existing hardware-based products, then later in the year will release a hardware-accelerated version to meet the demands of more latency-sensitive customers.
The platform, which was developed in response to demand from proprietary trading firms, market makers, hedge funds, asset managers and banks, runs on the same servers that host clients’ trading applications, and
