Corvil’s Intel Upgrade Boosts Monitoring Appliance Performance
Dublin-based latency monitoring software provider Corvil will this week launch upgraded versions of its entire range of CorvilNet Latency Management System hardware appliances, leveraging technology from semiconductor manufacturer Intel to enable the vendor to deliver twice the processing capacity to its clients.
Previously, Corvil used Intel’s Nehalem processors, which the hardware vendor released in November 2008, but decided to migrate to the new architecture after finding the potential
