Webcast: Regulation and OTC E-Commerce: Future-proofing your systems
With the approaching tsunami of regulation in Europe and North America, investment banks and other dealers need to make decisions about their investments in E-Commerce technology such as single-dealer platforms and the infrastructure to support them. But there is still confusion about which asset classes will be affected, which products will be eligible for central clearing, and what actually constitutes a swap execution facility (SEF) or an organised trading facility (OTF). Firms that invest in innovative E-Commerce channels now may be in the best position when the dust settles. Others may spend substantial sums on technology infrastructure that simply has to be discarded.
