Forefactor Releases Canadian SOR Research
Canadian markets participants can now choose between market-based smart order routers (SORs) and their own SORs, thanks to changes to the order protection rule (OPR) that were made by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), according to analysts at industry research firm Forefactor in the firm’s recent report, "Smart Order Routing in Canada—A Cog in the Best Execution Wheel."
According to the report’s author, Craig Geoffrey, a senior consultant at Forefactor, "Each [SOR] has its own advantages
