BME, Clearstream Debut Regis
Spanish exchange Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) and post-trade services provider Clearstream, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group, have announced that their joint venture, called Regis-TR, has gone live. Regis-TR is a European over-the-counter (OTC) repository that began its pilot phase in July with Spanish banks BBVA and Banco Sabadell.
The plan is for Regis to be fully live by the end of the year, officials say.
According to the BME and Clearstream, the system will collect and administer
