Fidessa Eyes Canadian Options

"We expect to have it in production by the end of the year," says Martin Hakker, managing director at Fidessa Canada. "We are in the early stages of the process."

The first step was to bring in the Montréal Exchange's options market data feed into the vendor's Canadian ticker plant. "We have ordered the lines and that part of the deal is done," says Hakker.

Fidessa officials are working on developing the platform specifications. "It is an issue of knowing what we want to support," says Hakker.
