Fidessa Prepares New U.K. Datacenter
"We identified about 12 to 18 months ago that at some point our original datacenter in Woking, Surrey, would reach maximum capacity, so we made the decision to move it into new state-of-the-art facilities nearby," says Andrew Barella, global head of market data at Fidessa in London. "We have been fitting out the new 8,000 square-foot center for about a year, and the first client services are due to go live later this month," including support for its hosted trading platform, he adds.
