SunGard Merges Business, IT Consulting Units
The vendor intends to improve upon its capabilities with the combination, according to Mack Gill, president of SGGS at SunGard. He was previously president of SunGard Technology Services. "We are bringing together, from a service perspective, not just domain knowledge, product knowledge, functionality knowledge, domain and industry knowledge that SunGard has, but also a wider, broader view of technology services in which we will continue to invest," he says.
