Backweb Technologies Launches Push Application Server

SAN JOSE, CALIF.--Backweb Technologies, a push solutions company, has launched the Push Application Server, a technology infrastructure allowing any application to send messages via Internet, e-mail, wireless, fax and voice mail.
"Most of our competition can only support such messaging through a specific application," says Todd Johnson, Backweb’s vice president of marketing. "We’re developing a system that has the basic infrastructure already in place."
