SGX Signs $56M Deal with HP
OUTSOURCING AND OFFSHORING
SINGAPORE—The Singapore Exchange (SGX) signed a contract worth S$95 million ($56 million in USD) for five years with Hewlett-Packard (HP) Singapore for the outsourcing of its IT and data services, according to SGX and HP officials, who made the announcement last week.
The exchange is outsourcing its data center operations and network infrastructure services, says an SGX spokesperson. SGX officials decline to comment upon the other vendors who were considered for the outsourcing contract.
