MONTREAL CANADIAN EXCHANGE TAKES NEC FLAT PANELS

The Montreal Canadian Exchange (ME) has picked NEC Technologies’ Plasmasync 4210 screens for its trading floor, replacing older LED boards in place there. The decision to upgrade was based on the need to display information on units that could be viewed from multiple angles, ideal for traders moving around in the pit. NEC’s screens also were thin enough to be installed at trader desktops and light enough to be mounted on walls for perimeter traders
