Bloomberg, Thomson Top IMD Awards

Bloomberg won the top prize but Thomson Financial took home three awards in the first annual Inside Market Data 2003 Awards, which will be announced this week.

Winners were chosen in an online ballot of Inside Market Data’s readership last month.

The top award, Data Provider of the Year (Vendor), went to Bloomberg. Its win suggests that despite the controversy surrounding its pricing policies, users continue to consider Bloomberg to be the most valuable market data service.
