Bringing Transparency to European Bonds-Part 2

Last December, I outlined the position of the European bond markets and fixed-income data in light of the possible extension of transparency provisions to non-equity instruments, focusing on cash bonds. The European Commission's call for evidence on this subject to the Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) and industry participants would help the EC complete its final report to the European Parliament and the Council in accordance with Article 65(1) of MiFID.
