Reuters' Parlapiano: RMDS Is Relevant

The author is Reuters veteran Michael Parlapiano, who has been in his current post as global head of Information Management Solutions (IMS) since early last year (DWT, Feb. 28, 2005). Parlapiano, whose years at the pre-Citigroup Salomon Brothers from 1989 to 1998 included the title of Global Head of Market Data, had a stint at Tibco Finance Technology (TFT), which was later pulled into Reuters. His most pressing initiative is to push acceptance of the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS).
