ITG Releases Version 2.0 of Best Market Server
Smart order router has improved latency thanks to enhancements made to infrastructure.
Best Market Server evaluates orders for dual-listed securities against the US and Canadian markets by using the foreign exchange (FX) rate to convert prices and seek the best price and liquidity for the order in the current market conditions.
Earl Cummings, ITG Canada's head of liquidity, tells Sell-Side Technology that enhancements to Best Market Server's infrastructure improved latency to Canadian and US exchanges. Cummings says the solution also now consumes lower latency Canadian equity, US
