Daiwa HK Taps Torstone's Inferno Platform

Japanese bank switches platform for Hong Kong investment arm.

Daiwa Securities has selected Inferno as part of its strategy to upgrade its Hong Kong operations.

Daiwa will utilise the platform to process its settlements, confirmations and reconciliations for its equity and fixed income business in Hong Kong, as the firm seeks to upgrade its back-office systems within the regional market.

According to Daiwa, it will consolidate its business onto the single operating platform, which provides its finance team with a platform for journal postings, risk reports, and provides a platform for use by legal & compliance.
