The Orc SOR connects with execution and order management systems via FIX connection. It also supports dark-pool strategies as well as field-programmable gate array (FPGA) data feeds, and offers a series of monitoring tools including anti-gaming features and information leakage prevention.

The product provides brokers and trading firms with a set of routing rules to cope with diverse trading scenarios, using automated order routing across any of the firm's low-latency native market gateways.

“Flexibility is key to making Orc SOR a highly effective and profitable tool for reaching the best liquidity in a wide range of multi-venue trading scenarios,” says Martin Nilsson, head of product management at Orc. “It allows firms to cater to clients’ needs, while optimizing their proprietary flow and minimizing market impact.”
