Peruvian Exchange Upgrades Electronic Trading Platform with MillenniumIT

CEO Francis Stenning says the upgrade will bring Bolsa de Valores de Lima to the forefront of technology.

MillenniumIT, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange Group, will provide Bolsa de Valores de Lima with an ultra-low latency trading platform through its Millenium Exchange and Millenium SOR offerings.

"We are very conscious of the relevance of technology in our business," says Francis Stenning, CEO at Bolsa de Valores de Lima. "That is why we believe this upgrade in our electronic trading platform and order routing system will take us to the forefront of technology. It will allow Bolsa de Valores de Lima to keep up with the growing Peruvian economy, provide new services to the local market and increase its efficiency."
