Talarian Buys Whitebarn, Supplier Of Multicasting Technology
VENDOR UPDATE
LOS ALTOS, CALIF.--Talarian has purchased Whitebarn, a software developer with expertise in Pragmatic General Multicasting, for $3 million in stock and cash to build up its suite of reliable multicasting technology.
In addition to giving Talarian PGM technology, Whitebarn, based in Warrenville, Ill., will add 11 engineers to Talarian’s technical staff, and become a Mid-western product development site.
