NYSE Promotes Cunningham to President

COO to take top spot this week as Farley departs.

Stacey Cunningham, COO of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will become the exchange’s 67th president on May 25, according to a statement from NYSE owner, the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

In addition, NYSE’s global head of listings, John Tuttle, will replace Cunningham in the COO spot, ICE said.

Cunningham, who began her career as a summer intern on the NYSE trading floor in 1994, will succeed Tom Farley, who took on the role in 2013 following ICE’s acquisition of what was then NYSE
