Morningstar Promotes Holt, Collins
Holt will be responsible for setting and implementing strategy, Morningstar-wide, while Collins will be responsible for strategy relating to its global equity research.
Reporting to Morningstar CEO Kunal Kapoor, Holt will be responsible for leading the vendor’s long-term strategic planning, and for allocating resources to execute on its strategy. Before being appointed global head of equity research in 2014, Holt was director of equity research for North America, having joined Morningstar as an equity analyst in 2008 from MMA Financial, where he was an associate, prior to which he spent five years as a senior manager at Marsh subsidiary CS Stars, a risk claims
