Sales Vet Maclay Swaps Data for Cyber Security

Maclay says Fortinet's cyber security proposition tempted him away from data after 25 years.

In his new role, Maclay will be responsible for selling Fortinet's cyber security solutions to chief security officers and heads of infrastructure at mostly non-financial Fortune 500 companies in the New York area.

Maclay was most recently sales manager for the Americas at data distribution technology vendor MDX Technology, prior to which he was senior vice president at remote systems support and management services provider West Highland Support Services, where he also spent served as SVP
