Tradeweb, Bloomberg Gain Dutch Approval Ahead of Brexit

The green light will enable the firms to continue serving their EU27 clients following Brexit.

Tradeweb Markets and Bloomberg have announced the receipt of regulatory approval for its Amsterdam offices from the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets (AFM), to continue servicing their EU27 clients post-Brexit.

Tradeweb will have the authorization to operate its trading venues and Approved Publication Arrangement (APA) from the European legal entity, Tradeweb EU BV, following the March 29 deadline. Meanwhile, Bloomberg’s Dutch multilateral trading facility, named BTFE, will provide
