Barchart Enhances Free API Offering
The vendor is looking to take advantage of the gap left by Yahoo Finance, which has discontinued its API service.
The vendor says it is positioning itself as an alternative for users of Yahoo Finance’s discontinued API service.
The APIs been made available through Barchart’s OnDemand service which allows startups, traders, and developers access to market data in XML, JSON and CSV format.
The vendor says it is also expanding its data offering to include APIs for Cryptocurrency data.
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
