BNY Mellon Set to Release Corporate Actions Communications Tool

FundBlast aims to cut down on the number of exchanges and potential misinformation.

The solution, called FundBlast, was designed to strengthen connections between asset managers and intermediaries through a digital platform. It has improved workflows to disseminate corporate actions data for mutual fund subaccounting and transfer agencies. The bank says it is the only third-party transfer agent to offer this kind of platform.

It is expected to be rolled out to asset managers by the third quarter of this year.
