HKEx appoints new chief executive

Former veteran JP Morgan Chase banker Alejandro Nicolas Aguzin begins his three-year term as the chief executive of HKEx on May 24. Aguzin is also now an ex-officio member of the HKEX board.

Aguzin’s compensation package at HKEx includes a basic salary of HK$10 million per annum.
