Nasdaq Seeks To Move Beyond Blockchain Proofs of Concept

Following its successful proofs of concept with blockchain initiatives, Nasdaq is exploring how the technology can be brought to the wider market.

Blockchain and other distributed-ledger technologies (DLT), have been called the solution in search of a problem. Large numbers of firms active in the financial technology market have been working on this area for the past few years, yet demonstrable progress beyond the proof-of-concept (PoC) phase has yet to be achieved.
