Swift CIO Set to Retire

Mike Fish, Swift, who is set to retire after eight years as CIO.

The firm has announced that it will begin both an external and internal search for candidates to replace the executive, who leaves his post on January 31, 2015.

Fish was appointed CIO at Swift in 2006, having joined the firm in 1999 from Ameritech. During his time in the top technology role, he has overseen initiatives such as Swift's efforts for the Target2-Securities initiative and the SwiftNet messaging program, as well as its sanctions screening engine.
