The service combines exchange-traded and over-the-counter options data with proprietary models and engineering techniques from SunGard's FastVal independent valuation tool for vanilla cash instruments, complex structured products and OTC derivatives, and will bring more transparency to valuations of complex OTC derivatives, officials say.
