Evaluated Pricing Head Blance Leaves SIX
Pricing and data vendor SIX Financial Information is looking for a new senior product manager for its evaluated pricing business following the departure of Ian Blance, who has resumed work as an independent consultant.
Blance headed business development for SIX's evaluated pricing service for almost four years. In a statement, SIX says, "Blance's departure was driven by new opportunities."
Blance is now working as an independent consultant specializing in valuation and pricing issues and associated compliance risks and reporting requirements. He is based in Switzerland.
Mirko Silvestri, SIX's Zurich-based head of product management for market data, has been appointed to lead the company's evaluated pricing service. The company has begun recruitment for a senior product manager to lead the continued enhancement of the evaluated pricing service.
Before joining SIX in 2010, Blance worked as a consultant for two years and at Interactive Data for 12 years.
