Northern Trust Hires Clive Bellows to Head Ireland Operations

Northern Trust has hired Clive Bellows as country head of Ireland. In addition to leading the firm's operations there, he will also help in the integration of Bank of Ireland Securities Services. (In February, Northern Trust announced it was buying the securities arm, in a deal that was expected to close by the end of June.)
Bellows has 30 years of experience, most recently with JPMorgan as its managing director of EMEA asset managers and hedge funds. Proving that you can go back home, Bellows had also previously served with Northern Trust from 1997 to 2003 as the firm's head of relationship management for the global fund services and investment manager liaison group.
"We are delighted to welcome Clive back to Northern Trust," says Toby Glaysher, who heads global fund services in Europe. "Through our acquisition of the Bank of Ireland Securities Services we will enhance our existing fund administration capabilities, specifically in the key areas of exchange-traded funds. Clive's expertise and experience will be integral in leading our Irish operations as we continue to invest in the market."
