Ballintrae Names Pearson MD

UK-based IT and market data consultancy Ballintrae has promoted Ian Pearson to managing director, replacing founder Steve Street, who has stepped back from day-to-day operations to join Ballintrae’s board.

Pearson was previously Ballintrae’s commercial director, prior to which he held other consulting roles and worked for a number of financial services and IT firms, including as sales and marketing director of FX trading technology vendor Cognotec, and as managing director at Knight-Ridder
