Citi Bolsters Investor Services by Frigerio Appointment

Former Pioneer Global Asset Management CEO Dario Frigerio has joined Citigroup and will serve as a senior advisor for investor services within the company's Global Transaction Services (GTS) unit.

Frigerio will be based in Italy and "will provide strategic counsel and work to deepen the firm's client base across Europe, Middle East and Africa in the newly-created role," according to Citi.

Frigerio stepped down as CEO of Pioneer, the asset management division of Unicredit Group, on Jan. 31, 2010
