After months of discussions involving numerous potential investors, Bridge Information Systems Inc. found a buyer last month: Welsh Carson Anderson & Stowe (WCAS). As a result of the acquisition, WCAS -- an investment firm that lately allied itself with interdealer-broker and Market Vision Corp. parent Liberty Brokerage Investment Corp. -- is now in a position to cobble together a fairly powerful institutional workstation offering. When and whether it does that remains to be seen.
