Hewlett-Packard Co.
has formed a new so-called Financial Services Business Unit (FSBU) to design, build, customize, provide consulting for and integrate information technology products and services for the worldwide financial services market. Before the unit was formed, each of the company's three regional areas serviced the financial services industry separately, as one of a number of industries. Now there's an organizational structure above the regional areas that has worldwide responsibility
