NEW YORK--André Villeneuve, executive director at Reuters, speaking at the same event as Dow Jones, said that the company was now aiming its 3000-series product line at "premium" sales and installs. Analysts expect that chief executive Peter Job will give more details at the half-year meeting.

Villeneuve also pointed to the Asian market as a potential growth area in need of a good fixed-income product. He believes that Reuters is now poised to get a first foot in the door.
