EDM Council Issues Data Management Capability Guidelines

Data Management Capability Assessment Model offers best practice and objectives

The EDM Council has issued its Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM), a set of best practices and criteria for measuring such capabilities in the financial services industry.

DCAM names eight categories of tasks necessary for data management and 15 objectives firms must pursue concerning a control environment comprised of parameters for it.
