Data Execs: "We Need Consolidated Pre-LEI Files"
Senior data executives highlighted the need for a consolidated file of pre-legal entity identifier (pre-LEI) data at the European Financial Information Summit in London this week.
During a panel discussion about the LEI, speakers praised the publication in July of governance principles intended to harmonize the work of the pre-Local Operating Units (pre-LOUs) that are issuing pre-LEIs, while work continues to establish a Central Operating Unit (COU)—which will ensure the application of uniform
