Torstone Upgrades Inferno Product For Transaction Taxes
Software vendor Torstone Technology has updated Inferno, its enterprise-level clearing, settlement and accounting application, to help its customers comply with the financial transaction taxes (FTTs) that are being introduced in Europe.
The company has implemented new rules in Inferno so that it can identify transactions that have liabilities under the FTTs introduced by France and Italy, and can calculate and withhold the relevant taxes without manual intervention. It is now rolling out the
