Data Management Spending on the Rise

IT budgets are expected to go up by nearly 6% this year, and enterprise data management is one of the areas firms are increasingly prioritizing, according to a report on capital markets technology spending planned for 2011 by Aite Group.

The findings were made based on interviews with chief information officers about budgets, priorities, stakeholders and infrastructure efforts.
