CEP Technology "Can Help Solve Static Data Quality Challenges"

TOKYO - Some firms are using complex event processing technology, traditionally used for real-time data, to improve management of static data sources, said Jeremy Green, global head of market data, Standard Chartered in a presentation on balancing the need for data quality, reliability and cost-efficiency at the Tokyo Financial Information Summit.

In terms of static data, Standard Chartered has a number of data feeds coming in, and this data goes into a data store and some of it is normalized.
