Reuters Builds "Lite" Tool for Emerging Markets Data

The service went live last week with two Brazilian banks using Reuters' new "RET-lite" technology to distribute prices and respond to RFQs from around a dozen customers in Brazil and the US, says Andrew Hausman, global head of fixed income, sales and trading at Reuters in New York.

RET-lite targets dealers in emerging markets without internal pricing and contribution systems to generate quotes and manage data upload to Reuters.
