MT Newswires Debuts ‘Ask Alyce' Chat-Based News

The news provider has recruited former MNI Chicago bureau chief Alyce Andres-Frantz to launch the service.

MT Newswires launched the new service, dubbed Ask Alyce, on Jan. 9, with an accompanying set of news articles called Street Color. Ask Alyce will deliver short snippets of easily-digestible information about market-moving events as quickly as possible, which Street Color will use as the basis for longer, traditional news stories, such as price movements, mergers and acquisitions chatter, capital flows across markets, and hot securities or asset classes.
