BATS Pushes MMT for BXTR Reporting

The exchange completed the rollout of the trading standard across all on-book securities two months ago, and is currently working with its bank trading members to have them adopt it for trade reporting on BXTR, from which BATS captures reported trade data to incorporate in its market data products, says Jerry Avenell, co-head of sales at BATS Chi-X Europe.

All BXTR data reported to the exchange has some level of MMT codification, a BATS spokesperson says. Currently, 20 firms report to BXTR and
