SunGard Wins ASEAN Link Deal

Bursa Malaysia, the Philippine Stock Exchange, the Singapore Exchange and the Stock Exchange of Thailand last week named SunGard as the technology provider of their planned ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) trading link, which will be based on the technology of its Valdi trading system and will be connected to the SunGard Global Network infrastructure, allowing clients to route orders and receive market data to and from all the exchanges.

The exchanges originally selected NYSE Technologies to design the trading link, leveraging its SFTI network.
