OpenFin Looks to Grow Developer Usage with Community Edition, Open-Source Rollouts

Mazy Dar speaks with Waters about the company’s new Community Edition offering and its decision to open source its core platform.

The service allows app providers and developers to use OpenFin completely free of charge, Mazy Dar, CEO and co-founder of OpenFin, tells Waters. The only difference between this and its fee-based service is that it does not offer certain enterprise features—such as security-sensitive features like file system and clipboard access—and does not offer 24/7 support.
