S&P Capital IQ Parent McGraw Hill Buys SNL Financial
Acquisition will allow the vendor to enhance the content and capabilities of its S&P Capital IQ and Platts businesses.
The deal will allow McGraw Hill Financial to "develop... new services, enhance existing offerings and expand into attractive adjacent markets," specifically around complementing S&P Capital IQ's platform with banking and insurance data, while expanding Platts' content with analytics and capabilities across energy markets, officials say.
