Northern Trust Creates iPad App for Institutional Clients

Northern Trust's Passport desktop is accessible using the browser on an iPad. “But the app enhances the experience for iPad users and leverages tablet capabilities, such as storage of documents for annotation and collaboration," Paul d'Ouville, global head of product management at Northern Trust, tells Buy-Side Technology.

The app, which took 12 months to develop, is designed to deliver risk and performance information while users are away from their desks, but they can view all reports
