Sophis Ratchets Up Asia Push

Sophis, which was acquired by Misys last month, has appointed Shoichi Tokunaga head of its Japanese office. It also announced the opening of an office in Brisbane, Australia.

Tokunaga has recently held positions in Tokyo at Fidessa K.K. and at Brandy International, a subsidiary of Thomson Corp., and spent 12 years at Reuters in London and Tokyo.
