Savvis Enters Canadian Hosting Market with Fusepoint Buy

Savvis last week struck a deal to acquire Fusepoint, a provider of datacenters and hosting services based in Mississauga, Ontario, just outside Toronto, and with other datacenters in Vancouver and Montreal, and an office in Quebec City. Officials say the move will expand Savvis' presence in Canada, enabling it to meet demand from clients for hosting centers in the region. Savvis will pay $124.5 million for Fusepoint, which has 330 clients and a total of more than 40,000 square feet of datacenter
